From the Heart Christian Women’s Ministries are seeking donations to help fund their Christmas children’s program. The event distributes Christmas gifts to children in the Anza Valley and surrounding areas.Many fundraising events were canceled due to the coronavirus health mandates, but organizers said the need is still there.“We are asking for donations this year,” organizer Christina James said. “It’s been difficult for everyone, and we understand. Whatever amount, large or small, we are so grateful.”In 2019, almost 500 children benefited from the program, and more children have signed up this year, James said.“The pandemic mandates have hit our little community very hard,” James said. “We couldn’t do a few of our usual fund raisers this year due to
