True science is inherently moral

I wasn't even looking for morality. While trying to find a statement on radiation, I was going through some nuclear power books I have. In my search I came across a page from Petr Beckmann’s “The Radiation Bogey.” Beckmann noted a claim by Paul Ehrlich, who was known for his advocacy of population control, on radioactivity. “He made the statement ‘nuclear wastes were once dumped into one of our southern rivers in amounts so small as to be considered negligible, until oysters growing in water near the river’s mouth were found to glow in the dark,’” Beckmann said.
