‘It’s working itself out:’ woman takes in granddaughter

Hemet resident Passion Aldridge, 45, took in her newborn granddaughter recently, caring for the child since she was three days old.“We didn’t know that my husband’s daughter was pregnant actually, and we received a phone call that she had a baby, that she needed someone to take care of it because she was unable to take the baby home.”Aldridge and her husband are empty nesters, with their youngest son turning 21 in February.
