RIVERSIDE (CNS) - The Board of Supervisors Tuesday, Jan. 5 and Wednesday will interview eight candidates seeking to permanently fill the top administrative position in Riverside County government.
No regular board meeting is scheduled Tuesday, which instead will be dedicated to a non-public executive session during which interviews will take place, according to the Executive Office.
The same process is scheduled Wednesday. It's unknown whether the board will vote this week on the preferred applicant.
Transportation & Land Management Agency Director Juan Perez is currently serving as interim chief executive officer. Former CEO George Johnson officially retired on Dec. 10.
