Riverside County congressmen denounce mob’s siege of U.S. Capitol

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - Rep. Mark Takano, D-Riverside, expressed disbelief today that the U.S. Capitol Building was besieged by supporters of President Donald Trump as Congress was debating the results of the Nov. 3 presidential election. "The Capitol is on lockdown. I am safe,'' the congressman said via social media. "I cannot believe that this has gotten to this point. My heart breaks for our country today."
