City welcomes new captain to serve in Lake Elsinore sheriff’s station

LAKE ELSINORE — Thursday, Jan. 14, the city of Lake Elsinore welcomed its newest captain, Andrew Elia, to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station to serve the cities of Lake Elsinore, Wildomar and Canyon Lake. This appointment came after the former captain, Michael Lujan, retired last month. Captain Andrew Elia has worked in law enforcement for nearly 22 years.
