TEMECULA – The city of Temecula opened a new playground Tuesday, Jan. 26, in a virtual ceremony on Facebook at Sam Hicks Monument Park, 41970 Moreno Road, in Old Town Temecula. The Temecula City Council members talked about the newly renovated project, which is just steps from the Temecula Valley Museum. Some of the new playground attractions include a Global Motion Ball, Grapevine & Barrels Climber and an Oodle Swing. “It has been a long time coming. We are very excited to unveil the new playground equipment at Sam Hicks Monument Park,” Mayor Maryann Edwards said in a news release before the ceremony. “This playground contains play features that no other park in Temecula has. You will definitely want to experience this unique park the next time you are visiting Old Town
