Riverside County reports 1,805 new COVID-19 cases, 33 new deaths

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - Riverside County health officials on Friday reported 1,805 newly confirmed coronavirus cases and 33 additional virus-related deaths as the number of hospitalizations connected to COVID-19 continued to decline. The aggregate number of coronavirus cases recorded since the public health documentation period began in early March is 271,910, compared to 270,105 Thursday, according to the Riverside University Health System. Total virus-related fatalities stood at 3,091. Deaths are trailing indicators because of delays processing death certificates, and typically cover three- to four-week periods.
