Young man charged with Lake Elsinore convenience store robbery
MURRIETA (CNS) - A 19-year-old man accused with two boys of holding up a Lake Elsinore convenience store was charged today with armed robbery.Raul Revilla Aparicio of Temecula is being held in lieu of $30,000 bail at the Byrd Detention Center and is slated to make his initial court appearance Monday at the Southwest Justice Center in Murrieta.According to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Robert Thomas, the robbery occurred about 1 a.m. Wednesday at the Circle K store in the 17000 block of Grand Avenue. He said the defendant and two juveniles grabbed some alcoholic beverages before allegedly confronting the clerk.Thomas alleged that Aparicio leveled a handgun at the man and demanded money, which the victim handed over.
