Johnson hosts virtual variety show with The Magic Castle

In the past, Temecula ventriloquist and magician Kevin Johnson has performed at The Magic Castle in Hollywood. The elimination of live entertainment during the coronavirus shutdown currently prevents live performance at the Magic Castle, but Johnson along with two other magicians and a publicist hosted a virtual variety show with the club Saturday, Jan. 23.“How can you pull a show together like that virtually? That is amazing technologically,” Johnson said.Johnson conducted his part of the show, including introducing the other acts as well as performances, from the master bedroom of his home.
