Rep. Calvert nominates 11 TVUSD students to service academies

Congressman Ken Calvert has nominated several Temecula Valley Unified students and graduates to attend U.S. military service academies, TVUSD said in an announcement Wednesday. Calvert, a Republican representing California's 42nd Congressional District, which includes a portion of Temecula, nominated 11 TVUSD students. "These young men and women I have nominated to the service academies have character, integrity, motivation and pride, and I am proud to nominate them," Calvert said. "I have no doubt that these students represent our region with honor and will serve our country well."
