IDYLLWILD – Riverside County Supervisor Chuck Washington is looking to fill a vacant seat on the Idyllwild Historic Preservation Local Review Board. Members of the Idyllwild Historic Preservation Local Review Board review proposed projects within the Idyllwild Historic District. The board provides a recommended approval, denial or approval with changes to the Riverside County Planning Director, who considers the board’s recommendation before approving or denying the project. Appointees must be able to attend monthly meetings at the Idyllwild Library, 54401 Village Center Drive, in Idyllwild once regular meetings resume. Currently, meetings are held virtually due to COVID-19. The appointee will serve a two-year term, after which time he or she may be considered for reappointment.
