Mother and daughter ‘Look at the Bright Side: A COVID-19 Story’ with first children’s book

Mother and daughter duo Laurie and Hannah Paysse of Murrieta wrote a children’s book about having a positive outlook on going back to school during the coronavirus pandemic. “We were home during the summer, and we were just kind of thinking about what it would look like going back to school, since my mom teaches second grade and just how that’s going to look really different this year,” Hannah Paysse said. “We were kind of getting all sad about it and thinking about what the kids must be feeling, and my mom wanted to write a children’s book.” Laurie Paysse is a second grade teacher at Cole Canyon Elementary School in Murrieta in her 30th year teaching.
