The winter storm system that blew through the Anza Valley Wednesday, March 10, through Friday, March 12, left several inches of snow, creating a winter wonderland. As the flurries came to an end and the sun shone through the fast-moving clouds, fun-loving children of all ages emerged from their warm homes to create unique snow people. Some residents reported up to 8 inches of snow, while Lake Riverside Estates experienced 1-2 inches in places. No matter the depth of the snow, snow people popped up in many neighborhoods.
