Former Linfield standout, Lorenzo Burns, invited to scaled-down NFL Draft combine

Murrieta native, Lorenzo Burns, who graduated from Linfield Christian High School in 2016, is gaining traction to the NFL Draft this year. Burns spent the last five years playing for the Arizona Wildcats, but before that was coached and catapulted to college level play by his own father, Dechon Burns, head football coach at Linfield Christian.Burns was a four-year starter that finished his Wildcats career with 42 games, 192 tackles – eight of them for a loss, two sacks, nine interceptions and an impressive 35 pass deflections, all the while opposing quarterbacks avoiding his presence in 2020.
