As the high school football season continues in Southern California, the CIF Southern Section football leagues are one week away from closing out this year’s shortened season. Not every team could commit to a season, some only hand a handful of games, and some just a couple, but a season did indeed happen, and soon it will all be over. No playoffs, no championship banners, no state bowl games, but all that aside, players, families and coaches and administrators were all more than happy to get some sort of a season completed while adjusting through the COVID-19 pandemic.
