Work progresses on Interstate 15, Railroad Canyon Road rehabilitation projects

The California Department of Transportation continues work on a $28 million project to replace the No. 3 and No. 4 lanes on Interstate 15 in and near Temecula from the Riverside/San Diego County line to just north of the Temecula Creek Bridge Monday through Friday, weather permitting.From April 19 through April 23, northbound I-15 had alternating lane closures of lanes 2, 3 and 4 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily, from Rainbow Valley Boulevard to State Route 79/Temecula Parkway. Daytime work will continue behind K-rails.Motorists should know before they go, Caltrans said.
