Menifee City Council discusses CIP project progress in special meeting

A two-hour special meeting and workshop called by the Menifee City Council reviewed the city’s current Community Improvement Projects completed, in progress and planned for the future that amount to over $70 million in the next two decades.The meeting, which was held Tuesday, April 20, in the council chambers, brought most city engineering and community improvement officials together to discuss the many projects planned for the city now with more than 100,000 residents and growing.The council had the opportunity to add any new projects to the list already planned and the progress on the CIP and General Plan already scheduled.The report showed there were 33 completed CIP projects, including the Scott and Menifee roads missing sidewalks, Murrieta Road resurfacing from McCall to
