Menifee City Council meeting opens to public after more than a year of COVID-19 restriction

The first time in more than a year, members of the public sat down at the Menifee City Council meeting Wednesday, April 21, to hear the council’s working agenda and witness the council discussion and adoption of the city’s recognition policy. The city council and other Menifee commission meetings have been held by Zoom and other teleconferencing methods since the COVID-19 pandemic forced the closure of large gatherings until state and county health restrictions were lifted. Since April 12, the Menifee city council meetings and other public meetings have been declared “open” in the orange tier.
