The Hemet City Council is considering regulations for city food truck vending and adopted amended detailed recommendations for allowing cannabis businesses in the city during its work study and regular meeting April 27.Community Development Director H.P. Kang explained in the work study session that currently the city has no food truck regulations in the city and sought the council’s advice on creating an ordinance that does allow and regulate the food trucks in the city. Food trucks outside of special events are not allowed in the city at this time, but food truck owners are seeking their approval to operate.
