LAKE ELSINORE - Four people were injured, two critically, in a single-vehicle crash in Lake Elsinore this morning, authorities said. Firefighters responded at 2:37 a.m. to a stretch of Lakeshore Drive near Diamond Drive and found at least one person was ejected from the wreckage of the crash, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
A helicopter was called to the scene for one of the critically injured patients, and the other was taken to hospital by ambulance. Paramedics treated two people on scene for minor injuries. Both declined further treatment, the department said.
Details of what led to the crash were not immediately available.
