The story “Court rules Hemet City Council seat once held by Joe Males annulled” by Tony Ault which appeared in the May 7, 2021, edition of Valley News needs to be clarified.Priscilla Madrid, the attorney for the plaintiff, Kenneth Graff in the case Graff vs. Males said she did not say that Joe Males had resigned his position. She suggested he could resign. Graff did not run for the city council last year. Males’ opponent was Miguel Madrid.Valley News apologizes for the error.
