The Sacred Heart Church and the Sacred Heart Women’s Guild combined forces to host a rummage sale Friday, May 14, and Saturday, May 15.Mild, sunny weather greeted both event volunteers and shoppers, providing a pleasant atmosphere for browsing and socializing. The huge sale was organized and spread out at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church’s partially shaded parking lot.Clothes, books, tools, toys, antiques, knick knacks, kitchenware, shoes, luggage, holiday decorations and even formal dresses were claimed by local bargain hunters. Volunteers arranged the wide array of items for ease of shopping and offered them at very reasonable prices.The event collected charitable donations for the church’s and Guild's
