SAN JACINTO (CNS) - Five people were injured in a four-vehicle wreck today just north of San Jacinto.
The crash happened about 3 p.m. on Gilman Springs Road near Bridge Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Multiple engine crews were sent to the location and found four of the victims outside their vehicles, while another was trapped in a sedan.
Officials said the trapped victim, whose identity was not disclosed, was extricated soon later and taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
Another motorist suffered moderate injuries and was hospitalized, while the remaining three victims were treated for minor injuries, according to the fire department.
There was no word on what triggered the crash.
