HEMET - A controlled burn got underway today near Diamond Valley Lake in an effort to eliminate nearly 40 acres of brush.  According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the burn began about 7 a.m. and concluded about noon east of the area of Domenigoni Parkway and Winchester Road.
  Motorists and area residents were advised not to be alarmed by the drift smoke.
