San Jacinto council approves fiscal year budget; sees electric and wastewater rate increases

The San Jacinto City Council approved a General Fund Budget of $27,048,903, and a Capital Projects budget of $32,666,579 for the upcoming fiscal year 2021-2022 at their June 15 meeting held in a special teleconference. They also budgeted $38,735,795 in their non-general fund for a total budget of $98,451,277. The city also holds in reserve General Funds projected at $4,050,141, Capital Projects reserve of $338,961 and no money in the Development Services Fund balance. Cities are expected to approve their fiscal year 2021-2022 proposed budgets by June 31.
