Lake Elsinore City Council proclaims July Parks and Recreation Month

Lake Elsinore Mayor Robert “Bob” Magee made a presentation to Director of Community Services Johnathan Skinner recognizing July as Parks and Recreation Month during the June 22 Lake Elsinore City Council meeting. While Magee did not read from the proclamation, it did state in part that “parks and recreation programs are an integral part of communities throughout this country, including the City of Lake Elsinore, and are fundamental to the environmental well-being of our community.”Skinner shared that the month will be celebrated with something for everyone. A free Kids Park Passport for ages 6-12 will give children a chance to win prizes by visiting local parks and participating in events. A free Community Services Luau Party will be at City Park July 14, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. D
