The Southern Section offices released the selections for the All-CIF boys’ and girls’ high school players from the spring COVID-19 jam-packed spring season and quite a few local players from around the area found themselves topping the lists. The spring sports athletes identified come from boys’ and girls’ basketball, baseball, softball, boys’ volleyball, boys’ and girls’ soccer and boys’ and girls’ lacrosse. The largest groups of premier players selected from this past season came from the baseball diamond and the girls’ soccer fields.

The 2020-2021 winter sports season, which was shortened amid the coronavirus pandemic, did not get selections for their All-CIF teams as there were not enough full seasons of play that took place. Released in early July, and presented by the LA84 Foundation, the following local players were selected for their outstanding performances displayed during the 2020-2021 spring season.
