Driver dies after truck flies off freeway onto Dulin Rd. below

One person was killed Saturday morning, July 24, after driving a box truck off the southbound Interstate 15 overpass onto Dulin Road. The unidentified man, possibly in his 30s died from injuries sustained in the accident, according to the North County Fire Protection District. "At 2:24 a.m. this morning a box truck flew off the freeway onto Dulin Road below," NCFPD spokesman John Choi said. "The driver was ejected from his truck and found by NCFPD wedged between a concrete pillar and rocks with life-threatening injuries. It required NCFPD crews to use rescue techniques including lashing and tying to pull him out of the area," said Choi.
