Man accused of kidnapping, sexually assaulting teen in Corona

A Pasadena man accused of abducting a teenage girl and sexually assaulting her in Corona was arrested and remained behind bars in lieu of $130,000. Andrew San Gabino, 25, was taken into custody Thursday, July 22, and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on suspicion of lewd acts with a child, sexual assault of a child and kidnapping. According to the Corona Police Department, the victim, a 15-year-old girl, was walking near Corona and Parkridge avenues at around 2 p.m. July 15 when a man drove up beside her, asked for directions and demanded she get in his vehicle.
