Menifee’s staff was directed to develop a public educational and governmental channel in partnership with Mt. San Jacinto College and Riverside County to better inform residents of city business and enhance their participation, by the city council at its Aug. 4 meeting.The council, after earlier dissolving the city’s Public Safety Commission, moved to have the police and fire departments inform the council members through monthly written reports and during regular quarterly council meetings in public to give their reports.
