Eastern Municipal Water District amended the final design contract for the Golden Triangle sewer project.
Eastern’s board voted 5-0, Sept. 1 to add $59,908 to the contract with Kennedy/Jenks Consultants, which is headquartered in San Francisco and has offices in Murrieta and San Diego. The action brings the total contract amount to $312,099. The board motion appropriated a total additional amount of $118,612 to cover other consultants and engineering branch labor.
A gravity sewer system for the Golden Triangle and the surrounding area will be at the confluence of Interstate 15, Interstate 215 and Murrieta Hot Springs Road.
