MSJC Board Approves 2021-2022 Budget

The Mt. San Jacinto College Board of Trustees Thursday, Sept. 9, adopted a $136,812,753 General Fund budget for 2021-2022. The unrestricted General Fund pays for operations, materials, supplies, salaries and benefits, among other things.The district’s total budget of $425,319,513 includes the General Fund, Restricted Funds, and Auxiliary Funds for use in specific areas. The budget also includes funds for the Bond Project Fund Measure AA that voters approved in 2014.Highlights of the budget include, 13 new faculty members, 6 replacement faculty members due to retirements or resignations, 7% Board Reserve, Staff step and column increases and increased operational expense for new facilitiesMt.
