Hemet Woman Killed in Gilman Springs Crash ID’d

GILMAN SPRINGS  – The Riverside County coroner’s office identified a 38-year-old woman who was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Gilman Springs that injured three others and which remained under investigation today.
The collision was reported at about 6:50 a.m. Friday on Sanderson Avenue between Gilman Springs Road and Ramona Expressway south of Beaumont, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Amber Chapman of Hemet was pronounced dead at the scene, the coroner reported.
Three others had to be cut out of the wreckage by emergency crews and were sent to a hospital, fire officials said.
At least one of those injured suffered serious wounds.
The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
