Fire damages San Jacinto home, displaces 4

SAN JACINTO (CNS) - A fire that erupted today in a San Jacinto home caused major damage to the property, displacing four people, none of whom were injured. The blaze was reported at about 1:20 a.m. in the 400 block of East Third Street, near Alessandro Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. The agency said multiple engine crews were sent to the location and encountered smoke billowing out of the front of the single-story house. Crews got the fire under control less than 30 minutes later, but the residence sustained extensive damage, making it unsafe for habitation, officials said.
