Remember International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. – Shared experiences bring people together. Whether it’s an illness, a natural disaster, or something as benign as a concert, when people experience the same event and can share their stories of how they were affected, everyone in that conversation benefits from the discussion. Survivors of suicide loss have a shared experience like no others. They have lost family or friends to the silent epidemic of suicide that claims so many lives every year. In California, every 0.69 or less than one day on an average a young person ages 10-24 is lost to this silent epidemic of youth suicide. This year survivor events are planned across the country Nov. 20, so that people can come together to find connection, understanding and hope through their shared experiences. To fin
