LAKE ELSINORE - A fire burned an abandoned restaurant building in Lake Elsinore early this morning.
The fire was reported at 12:40 a.m. in the 200 block of North Diamond Drive, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Firefighters said the smoke and fire were coming from the roof of the 7,000-square-foot structure when they first arrived.
Fire officials said the blaze was contained at 1:55 a.m. No injuries were reported.
