One Injured, Four Displaced in French Valley House Fire

FRENCH VALLEY (CNS) – One person was injured and four people were displaced when a home in the unincorporated community of French Valley caught fire this morning.
The fire was reported at 4:30 a.m. in the 32200 block of Spun Cotton Drive, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
When firefighters first arrived, they found the two-story home showing heavy fire and smoke.
Officials said the fire was contained at 6:05 a.m., and the American Red Cross was requested to assist the three adults and one child who were displaced by the blaze.
One person suffered minor injuries but declined transportation to a hospital, fire officials said.
No firefighter injuries were reported.
