EMWD approves water supply assessment for Keller Crossing development

The Eastern Municipal Water District approved a water supply assessment for the planned Keller Crossing development. A 3-0 EMWD board vote Wednesday, Dec. 15, with Stephen Corona and Randy Record absent, approved the water supply assessment which addresses whether the projected normal, single dry year and multiple dry year expected supply over a 20-year period can meet the demand for the project along with existing and other planned projects. The water supply assessment will be incorporated into the environmental impact report for the project. D.R. Horton is the developer of Keller Crossing while Riverside County is the lead agency for the EIR.
