SAGE - A fire at an illegal marijuana cultivation site on the north side of Sage Wednesday, Dec. 22, scorched just under a half-acre before crews got it under control.The non-injury blaze was reported at about 11:35 a.m. in the area of Sage and Red Mountain roads, roughly three miles southeast of Diamond Valley Lake, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.The agency said multiple engine crews were sent to the location, preceded by a Cal Fire air attack boss in an observer plane and a water-dropping helicopter.The chopper made several runs on th
