CORONA  - A motorcyclist killed when he ran into a sign alongside Interstate 15 in Corona was identified today as a 66-year-old Menifee resident. David Vinci was fatally injured at about 4 a.m. Monday at the Magnolia venue exit from northbound I-15, according to the California Highway Patrol. Officer Juan Quintero said Vinci was traveling at an unknown speed when he left the freeway, skidding onto the shoulder of the off-ramp and plowing into the traffic sign. "The impact caused the rider to be ejected from the bike,'' Quintero said. No other vehicles were involved. Paramedics arrived within a few minutes and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Anyone with information about the crash was asked to contact the CHP's Riverside office at 951-637-8000. Copyright 2022, City News Ser
