San Jacinto year-end report related to city council by city manager

The San Jacinto Council was given a year-end report for 2021 by City Manager Rob Johnson at its Tuesday, Jan. 18, regular meeting that showed the city still growing with many projects completed and underway for 2022.In that report, Johnson said City Hall received 22,250 calls from residents and others interested in the city during 2021. Johnson said that number is up from 2020 by more than 6,000 calls. Many calls were received because City Hall was closed for most of the year due to the coronavirus pandemic while all departments handled regular business virtually.The city Planning Commission reported it approved 60 new projects in the residential and commercial areas and handled 103 projects over the counter in that time.The Building and Safety Department issued 1,010 permits f
