TEMECULA (CNS) - A bicyclist was killed by a vehicle in Temecula, sheriff's officials said today.
It happened about 8:50 p.m. Friday at Margarita and Moraga roads, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Investigators said the bicyclist was outside of the marked bicycle lane while attempting to cross Margarita Road when the collision occurred.
Despite lifesaving measures by first responders, the bicyclist, whose identity was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene, sheriff's officials said. The driver remained at the scene and was cooperative with law enforcement.Copyright 2022, City News Service, Inc.
