Hamilton girl’s wrestling team excels at tough sport
The Hamilton High School girls varsity wrestling team has been quietly earning wins, pins and applause as the season progresses. A tight-knit group of talented girls, the team is skilled in a very tough sport. Coach Juan Lopez recently led the young ladies to a fourth Place Team win at the John Glenn High School fourth Annual Lady Eagles Invitational in Norwalk Saturday, Jan. 22.“This group of Hamilton girls is special,” Lopez said. “They understand the meaning of dedication, discipline and hard work, and because of that, they are achieving their goals.
