Two dozen residents and Menifee city staff attended a meeting via Zoom, Thursday, Jan. 27, reviewing the way for nonprofit organizations to apply for more than $77,000 in Community Development Block Grant monies coming to the city.The CDBG program workshop, moderated by Edna I. Lebron, a Menifee senior management analyst, included a number of nonprofit public service agency representatives who heard they had until 3 p.m., Friday, Feb. 14, at the latest, to turn in their applications for a portion of the CDBG ranging up to $10,000 each.Lebron carefully outlined the application process to the listeners with a series of slides which can be obtained from the city to help fill out their paperwork needed.
