A pet pig in Anza was attacked by a group of loose dogs Friday, Jan. 28. Owner Tara Butchart said she could not believe what she saw as the dogs ravaged her pig, Rosie.“I threw a pitchfork at them,” she said. “I am just thankful it was a big pig and not one of my smaller potbellies. The dogs would’ve killed a smaller pig for sure. There were at least three of these ugly dogs.”It is not the first time Butchart had seen these stray canines, she said.
