Temecula school board caught maskless, refuse to end mask mandate in schools

After weeks of protesting against mask mandates, a gathering of more than 100 parents, teachers and students addressed trustees at the Temecula Valley Unified School District board meeting in Temecula Feb. 24.Stephanie Dawson, a parent, chastised the trustees including Superintendent Jodi McClay whom she saw sitting at the dais barefaced, smiling, and laughing during a closed session. A few parents snapped photos through the glass windows and shared them with the Valley News.Parent Tricia Werner, who also works in education, was angry that school officials continue to downplay the negative effects of forced masking.
