LOS ANGELES – The Music Center announced 100 of Southern California’s most talented high school students as semifinalists in its 34th annual Spotlight program, a free nationally acclaimed performing arts competition, scholarship and artistic development program for teens.Senior Preston Atkins of Idyllwild Arts Academy in Idyllwild-Pine Cove performed in the classical instrumental category. Freshman Noe Lynds of Susan H. Nelson High School in Murrieta performed in the ballet category. Freshman Calli Perryman of Murrieta High School in Murrieta performed in the dance category.
