Man suspected of causing fatal Winchester wreck facing felony charges
BEAUMONT (CNS) - A 22-year-old man who allegedly caused a head-on
wreck in Winchester that killed a woman and seriously injured a man was drunk
at the wheel and will likely face vehicular manslaughter and other charges, a
California Highway Patrol spokesman said today.Willie Eddie Salazar of Wildomar was driving a Honda Civic that
allegedly slammed into a Chevrolet Malibu on Domenigoni Parkway, just east of
Patterson Avenue, at about 11 p.m. Thursday.Sahtarria Anderson, 32, of Menifee was fatally injured, and her
friend, identified only as a 31-year-old Hemet man, suffered major injuries,
according to the CHP.Officer Jason Montez told sources that Salazar suffered
extensive injuries in the wreck as well and remained hospitalized, along with
the Hemet man.Montez sai
