The monthly tournaments involving small middle schools and K-8 elementary schools in northern San Diego County and southern Riverside County concluded for the 2021-2022 school year with the Julian Junior High Invitational Track Meet on May 19 at the Julian High School stadium. Hamilton Elementary School won 11 of the 32 competitions and Cottonwood Elementary School took first place in three events.
“It was a really good meet,” Hamilton co-coach Janette Rodriguez said.
